Esta semana vamos a hablar de banderas con símbolos poco comunes. Por ejemplo, la bandera de Turkmenistán, la cual presenta sobre un fondo verde una franja vertical con cinco dibujos como si fueran alfombras típicas del país. También, junto con esta franja, se encuentra una media luna, que es el símbolo de la religión, y cinco estrellas, las cuales representan las cinco provincias de este país.

Dentro de esta categoría de banderas con símbolos extraños podemos incluir también la bandera de Suazilandia que presenta en el centro un escudo con dos lanzas colocadas de manera horizontal. El escudo es de color blanco y negro, que representa la convivencia entre blancos y negros y, junto con las lanzas, también representa la defensa del país frente a enemigos.

La bandera de Gales, con el dibujo de un dragón, la bandera del Líbano con un árbol, o la bandera de Camboya, con un dibujo que representa la entrada principal al templo de Angkor Wat, son algunas otras con símbolos peculiares aunque existen muchas más.
